Prerequisites

Basic computing skills and good familiarity with the Internet are the only requirements for this workshop. No specific technical background is required for the Cloud Associate level.

Vincenzo Puliatti, Chairman, IT Synergy

Mr. Puliatti was born in Italy where he obtained a Master Degree in Political Science with specialization in International Organizations. Since 1982 he has worked on innovative usage of ICT systems focusing on improving people quality of life and increasing the efficiency of the public sector. What is now called Information and Communication Technology for Development and e-Government.

He has more than 30 years of experience in formulating, participating and implementing ICT for development projects aimed to improve management, democracy, governance and quality of life. Mr. Puliatti has provided policy advices on technology prospection, E-Government and ICT for Development to high level Government officials of many developing countries in Latin American, Africa, Eastern Europe and Middle East. Since 2010 he is actively involved in Cloud strategy definition and implementation for Governments, International Organizations and large corporations.

Since 2005 is the Chairman of IT Synergy, an Egyptian company specialized in Cloud Infrastructure and Development. IT Synergy has delivered many cloud projects for research and business in Egypt and abroad.

 

Saad Zaher, Coordinator, Cloud Development Department, IT Synergy, Egypt

Eng. Saad is Supervisor and Coordinator for the entire team of Cloud Software Development. He is responsible for coordinating with the Cloud Architects team to ensure that all needed Cloud software development is properly done. The Cloud Software Development is responsible for both Cloud Development and Software Development or Software Porting to the Openstack cloud environment. He is also responsible for the technical training activities of the IT Synergy Cloud Academy. Eng. Saad is a Cloud Credential Council certified trainer.
